Competitions Terms and conditions
Competition details form part of these terms and conditions. Entry is open to residents who own their own business in Lancashire. The entrant(s) must be aged 18 or over. Proof of identity and age may be required. Use of a false name or address will result in disqualification. All entries must be made directly by the person entering the competition. Entries made online using methods generated by a script, macro or the use of automated devices will be void. No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, delayed or corrupted, or due to computer error in transit. The prizes are as stated, are not transferable to another individual and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is as follows;
Up to 10 page website – any page thereafter required will incur a cost
Domain name (1 year) – Fylde Coast Marketing cannot guarantee that that the domain name you require is available. You can choose any available domain name, the value of which must not exceed £10.00. After the first year you must pay for the renewal of your domain name on a yearly basis. This could cost up to £10.00.
Hosting (1 year) – Fylde Coast Marketing will choose and purchase your hosting provider. They will purchase your website hosting for one year from the date of the domain name being purchased. After the first year you will need to pay for the renewal of your hosting on a yearly basis. This could cost up to £40.00 for the year.
Logo Design/Redesign –If you wish Fylde Coast Marketing can redesign your logo for you. Fylde Coast Marketing will send you five different versions of your logo. You will choose your favourite design and Fylde Coast Marketing will send you a further three designs based on this.
Image Gallery – Fylde Coast Marketing will upload a maximum of fifty images to a gallery. These images will be a maximum of 1000KB per image.
Video Gallery – Fylde Coast Marketing will upload a maximum of five videos to your website.
Search Engine Submission – Fylde Coast Marketing will submit your website sitemap Google.
3 hours of Search Engine Optimisation – Fylde Coast Marketing will complete three hours of Search Engine Optimisation. Due to external factors, such as changes to the way search engines rank websites, we cannot offer any guarantees regarding the position we will achieve for websites. The process of optimizing websites itself will bring in more traffic and hits and you’ll see visits increase to your site naturally. We cannot accept liablility for any change in rankings, or drop off in the position of your website due to changes in the algorithms of the search engines or the factors that they use to rank websites.
Full professional copy – You will need to provide Fylde Coast Marketing with information about your business. From there Fylde Coast Marketing will create professional copy for your website.
Content Management System – Fylde Coast Marketing will you access to your website’s content management system where you will be able to edit sections yourselves including adding products to sell. Fylde Coast Marketing is not liable for any issues caused by you using the Content Management System.
If you wish to use a different payment gateway, Fylde Coast Marketing will endeavour to assist with this. Fylde Coast Marketing is not responsible for any monetary transactions that take place on the website.
The winner is responsible for uploading his or her own product images and descriptions.
Blog – Fylde Coast Marketing will add a blog to your website in order for you to update this.
Contact Form – Fylde Coast Marketing will add a contact form to your website. It is your responsibility to check and reply to any communications received from this contact form.
5 Email Addresses – You will receive five email addresses free of charge from Fylde Coast Marketing. The email address will have your website domain name included for example, email@example.com
Google Places Listing – If you own business premises, Fylde Coast Marketing will submit your website, address and postcode to Google Places. Fylde Coast Marketing is not responsible for whether this information is published.
Fylde Coast Marketing reserves the right to refuse to create a website with what it deems to be inappropriate, offensive or adult material.
The winner(s) is(are) responsible for providing any images relating to their business and copy regarding their business/products. If a ecommerce website is required a Content Management System will be provided for the winner(s) to upload their products/services. The promoters reserve the right to amend or alter the terms of competitions and reject entries from entrants not entering into the spirit of the competition. In the event of a prize being unavailable, the promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value. The winner(s) agree(s) to the use of their name, photograph and disclosure of county of residence and will co-operate with any other reasonable requests by Fylde Coast Marketing to any post-winning publicity. Unless stated otherwise the winner(s) will be drawn at random from all entries received by the closing date stated within the promotional material, in this case Sunday 30th June. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner(s). If the winner(s) cannot be contacted, or are unable to comply with these terms and conditions, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant drawn at random. Failure to respond and/or provide an address for delivery, or failure to meet the eligibility requirements may result in forfeiture of the prize. Competitions may be modified or withdrawn at any time. The provider of the prize is specified within the promotional material. In the event of a discrepancy between these standard terms and conditions and the details in the promotional material, the details of the promotional material shall prevail.
