1. Dent have had a YouTube channel since 2014. In that time, it grew slowly and steadily but it wasn’t getting them the results they wanted. 

2. As Key People of Influence themselves, the founders of Dent had plenty of video footage from speaking on stages, appearing on podcasts or hosting webinars BUT they didn’t have dedicated video content that helped spread their knowledge and expertise far and wide. 

3. Daniel Priestley, the Co-Founder of Dent delivers exceptional content over social media, however, finding time to do this consistently was a struggle. Daniel wanted to increase his audience and reach on social media platforms and deliver more content consistently.

What We Did…

Create Purposeful short & Long form Video Content

We managed the entire video marketing process, from writing hooks and prompts, to directing and recording Daniel on dedicated monthly video marketing times. Finally, we  edited and posted all videos. This meant we were maximising all of Daniel’s brilliant knowledge and expertise and delivering content Dent’s audience absolutely loved.

Managed YouTube for the key person of influence channel

We managed the Key Person of Influence YouTube channel – we uploaded and scheduled videos, optimised them for search, designed the thumbnails and wrote the video titles and descriptions. Finally, we reviewed the stats and tweaked the thumbnails, titles or descriptions to get even better results.

CREATED A CONSISTENT CONTENT SCHEDULE THE AUDIENCE GOT EXCITED ABOUT!​

We know how important it is to get eyeballs on your video content, so we promoted the content over email by sending out a hugely valuable video every Sunday to Dent’s list. It’s a regular, pillar piece of content that’s become popular with Dent’s email subscribers!

Repurposed the video content to social media platforms

Finally, we made sure that these videos not only performed well on YouTube but on social media channels such as LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok too. When these videos go out on these channels they attract tens or even hundreds of thousands of views, so much engagement and most importantly, deliver Dent more leads.

Our Thoughts On Why
This Was a Success

There are a few elements at play here about why Dent’s YouTube channel went from 35K views in 12 months, to 1 million in 12 months. Here’s why…

1. Consistency. Yes, it’s not the sexiest but it’s the best way to get in front of more people. We posted 5-6 shorts a week consistently. 

2. Hooks. Do we nail the video on the first go? Sometimes. But often we’ll experiment with different hooks and openings to capture the audience’s attention. 

3. Clarity. Everything is super clear and that’s because we direct every video to make sure the audience fully gets it. 

4. Value. Anyone who knows Daniel knows that he has an elite amount of knowledge on entrepreneurship – and we’re lucky that he’s happy to share that with the world!

5. Editing. Yes, you can use AI, but NOTHING comes close to having professionally edited videos that keep your audience hooked all the way to the end.
