How much will it cost? The one question we all want to know.
It always surprises me why so many businesses don’t put prices on their website. How hard can it be?
It’s the ONE QUESTION we all have before working with a company and yet so few are honest enough to make that information easily accessible. It’s frustrating.
That’s why we put our pricing information clearly on our website as you’ll see below.
The truth is, the cost of a new website can vary dramatically depending on what you want.
However, we have a simple pricing structure that’s easy to understand.
The CORE package for a new website is £4497 +VAT.
The package includes
A 1hr Discovery Session – This is where we book some time in the diary with you to go over your business goals and work together to plan your website fully before moving forward with the design. This takes place over a video call using Skype or Zoom.
A Unique Website – We’ll build a website that’s tailored around you. It will be specifically designed to grow your business and appeal to your ideal customers. This includes 2-3 unique page designs that we use across your website.
Conversion Focused Design – When we build your website we ensure the design encourages your users to take action, e.g. fill out a contact form, call you on the phone or buy a product.
An Online Blog – We’ll create a bespoke, user-friendly blog section on your website. This will be designed so your visitors can read your content easily and share it online.
Built on WordPress – We make sure you have full access to your website so you can make changes once it’s live. WordPress is the most popular platform of its kind so you’re in good hands.
SEO Foundations – Whilst we’re building the website, we follow a search engine recommended plan to ensure you have the best chances of being found online. We’ll also integrate the best tools & plugins so you can optimise your website properly going forward.
Premium Tools – The website will come equipped with the best tools on the market. This includes social media sharing buttons, landing page software and attractive gallery plugins.
Training Videos – You will have access to our training library, teaching you how to use your website effectively. We’ll teach you how to make changes along with the best practices to keep your website running smoothly.
A 1hr Training Session – Once your website is designed we’ll book some time in the diary for our digital marketing training session. This is where we can teach you how to grow your business online.
This package is generally sufficient if you require basic functionality.
Do you have specific requirements?
If you need any additional functionality to your website then that’s perfectly fine, and we can certainly help. The price of your package will be higher based on your requirements.
Here is a list of possible features you might want to have on your website.
An Online Shop
If you sell physical products and you want to sell these through your website then you’ll need an online shopping cart. It will allow you take orders, arrange delivery and process refunds easily. Although an online shopping cart is mainly used to sell physical products, you can also sell digital products such as gift certificates, ebooks or online courses.
A Scheduling Calendar
This is a tool that allows your users to book out a slot in your diary for a set amount of time. It might be 15 minutes or it could be an hour. This would be good if you run any business that’s based on appointments such as a hair salon or a physiotherapist. It could also be useful if you offer hourly online coaching via Skype. The great thing about a tool like this is that it arranges your diary for you and you don’t end up with double bookings.
Email Marketing Integration
One of the most common ways to build a list of prospective customers is to have an email signup form on your website. This allows your users to give you their email address and contact information so you can contact them with your latest news and offers. To be able to store your customer’s contact information, you would need an extra tool such as Aweber or Convert Kit.
If you provide visual services to your clients then you would want a nice showcase of your work on your website. A portfolio allows you display your work so your users can easily navigate through your projects. This would be great if you’re a graphic designer, an interior decorator or even an architect.
A Video library
Another feature you might like to have on your website is a library for all your videos. If you currently have a lot content on YouTube, then you might want to display these videos on your website so your visitors can browse easily.
Events Booking System
If you want to sell tickets to an event then you’ll need an Events Booking facility for your website visitors. Something that allows your users to view dates, select tickets and book online will make the process easy and increase sales.
Website Content Created
If you are setting up a new business and don’t currently have any content then you might want to consider having some copy professionally written. The words you use on your website go a long way to selling your products and services. Even if you do already have content from a previous website, there will be ways to improve it.
The sky is the limit
There is truly no limit to what you can achieve with your website but just be aware, every additional feature will take longer to build and integrate, which will cost more. I’m sure you understand. Sometimes, a website has cost £15K+. It all depends on what you need on your website.
Why this pricing structure works
We designed the core package and pricing structure based on our experience of what makes a great website. Over the years, we’ve worked with many small business owners who have gone on to be very successful, and we believe their websites had a big part to play.
We have built this package to work with almost any business or organisation, and our process will give you the best chance of success.
