Meet the team
Martin – Founder, Web Designer and SEO specialist
Martin is an experienced search engine and web design specialist, with over a decade of experience working with large corporations to small businesses.
The most important thing for me when investing in a product or service for my business is ROI. That’s why I make sure our clients see real results from their SEO. I give them exactly the service that I would want. And I love exceeding expectations.
Martin is also the founder of SEO Pro School, a self-learning video programme for business owners and their employees. The programme has attracted people across the world who want to learn how to develop their SEO skills.
Graphs – lots and lots of graphs (especially when the line is going up! That’s always nice.)
Coffee – three scoopfuls of the stuff in one cup, preferably four times a day
Jam sandwiches – hence the name, Jammy Digital!
Lyndsay PR and Copywriting Consultant
Lyndsay is an experienced copywriter and public relations consultant. Her job is to ensure that your copy is written to an excellent standard, is exciting and SEO friendly.
Good copy can make or break a business. Gone are the days where people looked up businesses in the yellow pages. Now, they’re on your website, reading your blog, interacting with you over social media. Every word put out there is a reflection of your brand, and that’s why good copy is key.
Lyndsay graduated from university eight years ago with a degree in Advertising Management and Brand Management and she is currently completing a masters part time in Creative Writing.
She creates blog posts, social media content, web and marketing material and press releases.
Books – the classics and a little Harry Potter thrown in!
Starbucks – I’m a coffee snob, not afraid to admit it.
Game of Thrones – No explanation needed. It’s amazing.
Mike – SEO Consultant
Mike knows all there is to know about SEO. Using a variety of tried and tested techniques, over a period of ten years, Mike has perfected Jammy’s SEO strategy to perfection and delivers exceptional results.
SEO is an ever-changing landscape. It’s not something you can dip in and out of. You have to immerse yourself in it and you have to be prepared to adapt if you need to. But, ultimately, if you practise good, white-hat SEO, the search engines will reward you. It’s hard work. But it’s worth it.
Mike joined the team shortly after Martin founded the company, bringing a wealth of experience with him, having worked with tens of small-medium sized businesses and delivering excellent and reliable results.
Apple – I can’t help it, anything new and shiny from Apple I have to have!
Music – I have my own music studio and after a long day staring at a computer screen, it’s nice to have jam.
Anything geeky – As you’ve probably noticed, us SEO types are pretty geeky!
Carole – Client Liaison and Administrator
Carole has worked with Martin for the past eight years and has never failed to deliver excellent service with a constant smile on her face!
I’m the first point of call for clients and honestly, I love what I do. Often new clients come to me a little nervous about SEO and I don’t blame them, there’s a lot of information out there, some good, some bad but all of it can be confusing. I like liaising with clients and seeing them through the process, ensuring they’re happy and well-updated along the way. A happy client means I’m doing my job just right.
Carole has over twenty-five (she told us not to put that) experience in customer service and has mainly worked in the marketing and digital marketing sector.
Green tea – And lots of it!
Downton Abbey – The Dowager is my favourite!
Josh – Student intern
Josh is Jammy’s student intern who’s learning all about the world of SEO and internet marketing. He’s currently studying Creative Media Production at College and is extra handy with a camera and knows his stuff on photoshop.
“I love working at Jammy. It’s a relaxed place to be and I’m learning lots about SEO – which I had never really heard of before.
Everyone is friendly and it’s a nice team. On Fridays we get cake. That’s always good.”
Computer games – could spend hours on them!
Design – I like using photoshop and I’m learning a lot about it now
Football – We all support different teams here, which makes for some good discussion!
